Notarisation

Affidavit Notarization Services in Dubai

Notarisation is the moment a written statement becomes a formal instrument. The notary verifies who you are and witnesses your signature, and from that point the statement carries evidential weight that an unsigned document does not.

Dubai Legal Expert arranges notarisation of affidavits and declarations across the UAE, through the Dubai Courts notary and the private notary channel, with the preparation completed in advance.

What We Do

How Notarisation Works and What It Requires

The statement must be in Arabic or bilingual form, with any foreign language text translated by a translator licensed by the Ministry of Justice. Each signatory attends with original identification, and where a company is involved the trade licence and evidence of signing authority are also required.

Remote and video notarisation is available for certain document types, which allows the process to be completed without attending in person. Whether it applies depends on the document and the parties involved.

One Visit

Identification, authority, translation and drafting verified beforehand so the appointment succeeds first time.

Remote Assessment

We check whether the remote or video channel is available for your document type.

Company Signatories

Trade licence and signing authority evidence prepared for corporate declarations.

Onward Attestation

Where the statement will be used abroad, the following attestation steps are arranged immediately.

Pre Check

A written list of exactly what to bring, so nothing is missing on the day.

Why Us

Why Preparation Decides Whether It Takes One Visit

Notarisation itself is quick. What causes delay is arriving without a translation, without evidence of signing authority, with identification that does not match the names in the document, or with text that the notary will not accept in its current form.

Each of those is identified in advance by reviewing the document and the parties before the appointment. That review takes a short time and it is the difference between one visit and three.

FAQ

Affidavit Notarisation FAQs

What does notarisation of an affidavit do?

The notary verifies the identity of the signatory and witnesses the signature, giving the statement formal evidential status. It does not verify that the contents are true.

Do I need to attend in person?

Often yes, though remote and video notarisation is available for certain document types and we confirm whether it applies.

What do I need to bring?

Original identification for each signatory, and for company declarations the trade licence and evidence of signing authority.

Does the statement need Arabic translation?

Statements must be in Arabic or bilingual form, with translation by a translator licensed by the Ministry of Justice.

Can someone sign on behalf of a company?

Yes, where they can evidence authority to bind the company, which is verified before the appointment.

Is a notarised affidavit valid abroad?

Not automatically. Further attestation or an apostille is generally required depending on the destination country.
